It is less than three months until the Sho-me Your Wheels cars, trucks, tractors and anything else with wheels, yes , and even chainsaws and gas engines. This year it will be on Saturday, September 18th on the square in Mansfield, Missouri
This is exposition only, no contest, however if I can get some donors we will have some drawings for prizes. So, bring the good, the bad and the ugly and I am not talking about your spouse. If you have a work in progress, bring it. Most of the pretty ones started out that way. You just might run into someone who has done one before and can give you some helpful tips.
We would like to see this be more than a show, have working demonstrations of the way things were done in the good old days.
If someone has a working machine, a wringer washer with a gas engine like Grama used or an old corn sheller, a peddle sharpening stone, any old household or farm equipment from the past. We welcome any old demonstrations of old and forgotten trades. Does anyone have a forge to demonstrate? Is there anyone who can make brooms?
Well-broke draft horses and oxen are welcome. A matched team of horses or oxen hitched to a wagon or cart is a beautiful site even at a “car” show.
Come and be part of our celebration. See you on the square, Richard
